DockSnap can push data straight into your own systems, so nobody re-types what the camera already captured.
What it does
Tells your system the moment a package is scanned. When a worker photographs a parcel label and DockSnap extracts the text, we send your system a notification within a few minutes — carrier, tracking numbers, references, the addresses on the label, and a link to the photo itself.
Lets your system read records on demand. A REST API for records, photos and scanned documents, including everything extracted from them.
Typical uses:
- Create the record in your own courier or warehouse system automatically, with no manual entry.
- Notify your customer the moment their goods arrive.
- Pull photos into an existing portal your customers already use.
What you need
Someone technical — either in-house or your existing software supplier. We provide the trigger and the data in standard formats; connecting it to your system is their side of the work. Most integrations take a developer a day or two.
Pricing
The API and webhooks add-on is $149 per month, on top of your DockSnap subscription. No per-message charges and no separate setup fee.
Getting access
Email support@docksnap.io and ask for API access. We will switch it on for your account and send your developer the technical documentation, which covers authentication, the event types, payload formats, signature verification and a machine-readable API description they can import straight into their tools.
Once it is enabled, you create and manage your own API keys and webhook endpoints inside DockSnap under Settings → API & Webhooks — including a delivery log showing every notification we have sent you and whether it arrived.
